Divinity Of Jesus Christ

                                        Jesus Christ

Divinity and Mission of Christ

Jesus Christ of Nazareth is a perfect man according to the bible. But He is also Almighty God at the same time. We Christians do not deny the fact. The Idea displays that there was no one perfect on this Earth in God's Sight. God manifested himself in the human flesh to show humanity how to live a life that is Obedient in the sight of God. With all due respect and Love, I want to say that my Jewish brothers are still trying their best to follow the law of Moses to please God. But we know that it does not matter how hard we try, at some point we all make mistakes. From the very first man, it is very clear that man always wanted to make things right by himself. When Adam and Eve rebelled against God. When their eyes were opened, they wanted to hide their naked bodies with Fig Leaves. But God knew that leaves will not last long enough. So God created Garments of skin for Adam and his wife which could last longer. That's God's way of making things right for us. Think about this for a while, Humans of the present age are also trying to hide their Sins and trying their best to be righteous by themselves. But blessed are those that confess with Pure heart. Just like prophet Isaiah, Even though he was a prophet of Almighty but when he saw the Glory of Jesus. He felt Unworthy. And the Coal by which his lips were touched represents the Blood of Christ. The Blood of Christ is the only way for Humanity.

The Word became Flesh:

Well, I quoted something that could be pretty mind-boggling to some people.  The Truth is that many People out there are not willing to accept this Revelation.  I have seen in many debates that Christians got puzzled when they are shown verses from the Bible. We all need to have a true understanding of the bible and about being and divinity of Jesus. Everything is there in the Bible, all we need to do is to read it and ask the Holy Spirit for revealing them alive to us.
John 1:14 The word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his Glory, the Glory of one and only son, who came from Father full of grace and truth.
In the Gospel of John, a beautiful revelation of  Jesus Christ is revealed to us. Jesus is the word of God. He was present at the time of creation. For better understanding, please read Genesis 1:3. We see no life at all and God spoke his word and said: "Let there be Light". This is also an Image of Christ which was confirmed in John 1: 7-10. So by these Scriptures, it is cleared that Jesus is God. Whatever John spoke was in the guidance of the Holy Spirit. As per John 1:1 the "Word" was God, so hence that Pretty much proves the divinity of Christ. But from these scriptures, we see that God manifested in flesh and among between us. He had Human characteristics like he got tired, hungry and He Wept on the matter of Lazarus. The Display is that God manifested in the Flesh and became the perfect man.

Jesus gave up his Divinity for a Limited time:

Please look at Phillipains 2:7-10
Rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant,
    being made in human likeness.

And being found in appearance as a man,

    he humbled himself
    by becoming obedient to death
        even death on a cross!

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place

and gave him the name that is above every name,

that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,

in heaven and on earth and under the earth.
Jesus Did give up his divinity for a limited time for the accomplishment of his mission. Many People question why Jesus was unable to defend himself? The same question was asked by the people of the time of Jesus. Instead, they Mocked him and came down from the cross. By Meditation on the 1st chapter of John, It is cleared that God did manifest in human Nature.
The idea is that a sinless sacrifice was needed for the salvation of mankind. Since no man was righteous enough so God dwelled in Human flesh to set the captives free. look at John 17:5 And now, Father, glorify Me in Your presence with the glory I had with You before the world existed. Jesus was given back the same glory that he beheld with his Father before the Creation. The idea is that all three members of Trinity share an equal position in the Godhead. Jesus is Jehovah One and True God.

Did Jesus Accept that He is God?

  • John 20:29 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!” 29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
  • John 10:30 I and Father are One.
  • John 10:33 But Jesus responded, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone Me?” 33“We are not stoning You for any good work,” said the Jews, “but for blasphemy, because You, who are a man, declare Yourself to be God.”
  • Rev 22:13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

If we look at Isaiah 44:6 "This is what the LORD says-- Israel's King and Redeemer, the LORD Almighty: I am the first and I am the last; apart from me there is no God.

Yahweh Calls calls him the First and Last. In Revelation, the same context was used in many placed. Bible is full of evidence. And the one who is given the understanding will accept the truth.
